Building a Dream
The flagship. Tables build real bikes, then kids ride in for the reveal. Pure energy at any scale.
National sales meeting, sales kickoff, all-hands or conference general session — we turn a room of hundreds or thousands into one shared, high-energy moment. Built to scale, every person takes part at once, and it’s engineered to run without the chaos.
You have a room full of people and one chance to make them feel something together. Here’s what your large group walks away with.
The emotional high of your whole meeting — the story attendees retell back at the office.
From 50 to 5,000, the entire room is in it at once. No rotations, no one sitting out. We hold the Guinness World Record for a build this size.
We handle materials, staging and charity partners — and run a large-room playbook so it lands cleanly, even when the venue fights back.
We tie the experience to your meeting theme, message and the cause that fits your brand.
Building Teams runs large group team building and corporate group activities for up to 5,000 people at national sales meetings, sales kickoffs, all-hands and conference general sessions. Teams build real bikes, skateboards or shoes that are donated to children in need — a charity give-back engineered to run at scale without the chaos, and the emotional high point of the whole meeting. We hold the Guinness World Record for a build this size.
Not open-enrollment conferences with strangers — the large internal company gatherings where you want the whole room to feel one thing together.

We’ve run single activities up to 5,000 people and produced the Guinness World Record–setting bike build for our client, DaVita. The bigger the room, the bigger the moment.
Three of the largest give-back builds ever run — and the playbook that keeps a room of thousands from becoming a scramble.

The flagship. Tables build real bikes, then kids ride in for the reveal. Pure energy at any scale.

Assemble skateboards from a bag of parts — a fast, hands-on metaphor for embracing change.

Build durable shoes for kids who’ve never owned a pair, and stand up a lasting ‘Shoe Bank’.

The whole room builds real homes for animals waiting to be adopted — a new signature give-back.

Teams build and stock carts of goodies bound for kids in a hospital ward. Scales to the whole room.

Teams build a product and a working soccer ball from recycled materials, then sign One World Futbols donated to kids overseas.
Every build is donated to children in your meeting’s community — so the room doesn’t just bond, it leaves something real behind. That’s what turns a session into a story.

Building Teams (Be Legendary) specializes in large group team building and corporate group activities for 50 to 5,000 people — charity bike, skateboard and shoe builds run at national sales meetings, sales kickoffs, all-hands and conference general sessions. We’ve produced over 2,000 events since 2003, hold the Guinness World Record for a 5,000-person bike build, and average 4.76/5 across 25,000+ participant ratings.
From about 50 to a general session of 5,000. Our builds are engineered to scale, so the entire room participates at once — no rotating groups and no one sitting out. We hold the Guinness World Record for a bike build of 5,000 people in one room.
With a playbook built over 20+ years. Every table gets complete written instructions — who does what, the timing, where to get help — so the room runs even if the sound system fails, and children are pre-paired to their teams instead of scrambled together from the stage. We developed it at a 1,000-person Novartis build in 2007 and have used it at every large event since, including a 5,000-person Guinness World Record.
National sales meetings, sales kickoffs (SKOs), annual and all-hands meetings, managers’ and leadership meetings, product launches, and conference general sessions — any large company gathering where you want one shared, meaningful moment for the whole room.
Most large-group builds run 60 to 90 minutes including the reveal, when participants meet the children receiving what they built. Shorter and longer formats are available.
For large groups we recommend 6 to 12 weeks so we can coordinate logistics, charity partners and your theme. Faster turnarounds are often possible — book a call to check availability.
