We’re a social enterprise that ties giving back to every single thing we do — because we believe companies can be for-profit and for-purpose at the same time. We’ve spent two decades proving it, one team at a time.

Appreciative, not deficit

We build on what’s already great.

Most team building goes looking for what’s broken — the weakness, the 5% that isn’t working — and tries to fix it. We do the opposite.

We find the strengths a group already has and build on them. If a team is operating well 95% of the time, we grow that 95% rather than dwelling on the 5%. It’s a small shift in focus with very real, compounding results — and it’s how good groups become great.

We’re a true social enterprise: philanthropy is woven into every service we offer, not bolted on. Giving back to the community can’t be separated from what we do. We’ve intentionally stayed a for-profit company to prove that business can do well by doing good — and keep impacting the world without depending on outside funding.

Our 1:1 promise

For every executive, a young leader.

For every corporate participant in a Be Legendary executive retreat, we deliver a Be Legendary workshop to a young person aged 12–15 — introducing them to the ABCs, to their own core values, and to authentic role models and everyday heroes. Changing the world two people at a time.

Two decades of helping people rediscover their best.

2003

It began as Repario

We started under the name Repario — Latin for “to rediscover or find again” — with a simple goal: help each person rediscover the very best of who they are. Corporate America became our laboratory.

2010

We became Be Legendary

We renamed the company Be Legendary and focused on sharing what we’d learned about legendary people and how to build legendary teams.

Today

500,000+ people, and counting

We’ve produced 2,000+ events for 1,500+ companies — and worked with 80% of the Fortune 500. Our roadmap has been tested against Fortune 10 executive teams. It holds up, because every one of us is human, with the same needs and the same potential.
