DaVita: 5,000 people, one room, a world record.
In 2017 we produced a Guinness World Record bike build for DaVita — 5,000 teammates building in one Denver room, 1,000 children waiting in another, at 7 PM on a school-night Wednesday.
DaVita wanted a record-scale moment worthy of the company’s community values — something that would unite 5,000 teammates at once and mean something far beyond the event.
The twist that raised the degree of difficulty: 1,000 children would be waiting in a separate room for the reveal — at 7 PM on a Wednesday, a school night.
We designed and produced a synchronized, room-wide bike build engineered for record-setting scale — staging, logistics, facilitation and a precisely choreographed flow so all 5,000 participants were building at once.
Then the doors opened. A thousand children streamed in to meet the teammates who had just built their bikes — a reveal timed to the second, on a school night, and worth every logistical hour. Of the roughly 1,000 bikes built that hour, 979 passed an on-site ride-safety check — the figure Guinness certified, and the reason the record reads 979.
The build was verified as a Guinness World Record in 2017 in Denver — a milestone earned by DaVita and produced by Legendary Team Building. Proof that an activity at this scale could be pulled off flawlessly, and that giving back and team building belong in the same room.
A thousand children received a brand-new bike that night. Five thousand DaVita teammates shared a single, emotional high point they’d retell for years — and a company set a world record doing good.
The 2017 record wasn’t DaVita’s first legendary moment with us. Back in 2005 we produced what is still one of the most logistically demanding builds we’ve ever run: 2,200 people across four airwall-divided rooms, four speakers, and a single synchronized reveal — rated 4.88 out of 5.

Scale, logistics, and a reason to care.
An event at this scale only lands if the logistics are invisible and the purpose is real. Across both DaVita events we handled both — the production rigor to run flawlessly at record scale, and the give-back that turned a corporate session into a story.
- ✓Record-scale production — staging, flow and facilitation for thousands at once.
- ✓Everyone participates — no rotations, no one watching from the side.
- ✓Built-in purpose — hundreds of kids met the teams who built their bikes.
